Hi, I’m Jonas. I’m a yoga teacher and musician currently travelling the world, widening my knowledge of the body and movement, practicing, playing, and sharing my love for yoga and music.

From a young age I was always moving and playing, trying different sports and martial arts, cultivating a deep curiosity in these kinds of practices. As this curiosity expanded it developed into more of a general philosophy: that everything is interesting if you’re interested enough. Eventually this increasing fascination with physical practices led to my encounter with yoga. So, about 10 years ago, I began the beautiful journey down the rabbit hole of this vast tradition. One which embraces so much more than just the physical exercise component that initially drew me to the practice.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of learning from amazing teachers and have done various workshops, courses and trainings - some in traditional styles, like Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga, others in more modern approaches such as Alignment Based Vinyasa and YogaSynergy. To this I have added some influence from outside the yoga world. Movement teachers like Ido Portal and Jon Yuen, and mobility training systems - Functional Range Conditioning and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, for example - have also inspired my practice and teaching.

As I continue with this diverse inquiry into the body, music, and yoga, I am regularly reminded of the ways our muscular-skeletal system, physiology and mind are in constant interplay. In my pursuit of understanding these features and their interaction with each other more deeply, I aim to create and share a safe, smart practice - one which promotes health, longevity and joy.

I have found that my passion for movement, music and art come together in the practice of yoga. That’s why, as I keep investigating, interpreting and applying this practice, I strive to use it to share good energy and meaningful knowledge.
